We are always pleased to welcome new members and help them get the most from our membership and paddlesport in general.  Thameswey Canoe Club is a family friendly club and we welcome all ages from 7 years old onwards.  We have members with a wide range of abilities and skills in different craft including canoe, kayak, freestyle, sea kayak, and SUP.  We offer a variety of courses and we also have a very engaging and fun Youth Programme for 7-18 year olds.  To enquire about membership please email newmembers@thamesweycanoeclub.com

To enable the club to deliver the appropriate coaching and support for potential new members the club maintains a waiting list each year from May through to February. You will then be invited to attend a taster session in April to help you decide if you would like to become a member. The Start Course covers a practical introduction to paddling for those new and returning to the sport, as well as a summary of how the club works and it will also give you an opportunity to meet some of our current members and coaches and ask any questions you may have.
